Sophisticated aluminium profile enclosures for central control units

Our new SMART-TERMINAL aluminium profile enclosures feature a highly quality matt anodised finish. These robust, elegant and highly attractive cases offer plenty of space for large-volume electronic assemblies, for example touch screens, display modules, PCBs etc. A variety of technical advantages, individual profile lengths on request, and creative designer options make the SMART-TERMINAL the last word in excellence for tough industrial display enclosures.

  • 3 basic enclosures in the profile lengths 160 mm, 200 mm and 240 mm (overall enclosure length with end covers + 42 mm or with end plates + 4 mm), width 170 mm, height 50 mm
  • covers in lava (similar to anthracite) moulded in high-quality ASA+PC-FR plastic
  • designer seals made of TPV material in volcano or green
  • optionally available with a simple aluminium plate as a lateral end plate 
  • highly versatile design can be used as table-top, sloping front and wall-mounted enclosures
  • recessed area in top for the installation and protection of displays, membrane keypads and operating elements
    (SMART-TERMINAL 160: 5.7"/14 cm; SMART-TERMINAL 200 & 240: 7"/17.8 cm)
  • horizontal PCB guides and screw channels inside the enclosure
  • two-part aluminium profile facilitates the assembly of the enclosure and installation of the components, with no visible fixing screws

  • optional accessories: wall suspension element, case canting kit for an ergonomic reading angle of 12°, set of square-head nuts for PCB mounting

Pole/mast mounting bracket

For the secure and stable mounting of IP rated electronic enclosures to poles, masts, and pipes using cable ties or stainless steel screw bands, suitable for pole diameters from 30 mm. The bracket is attached to the rear of the enclosure (four drilled holes required) and is manufactured from UV resistant material.

Note:
Every application (environment, sealing requirements, enclosure size/version, mast diameter, etc.) is different. For this reason, no mounting screws, cable ties or stainless steel screw bands are supplied; only the mast/pipe bracket is included. However, on request, we can provide a wide range of solutions tailored precisely to the intended application.

Set of M3 square-head nuts For mounting a PCB or mounting plate on the base profile of the SMART-TERMINAL enclosure. The square-head nuts can be positioned anywhere within the T-grooves in the base profile, depending on the installation configuration.

Wall suspension element Two-piece design for secure and flush mounting of the SMART-TERMINAL enclosure.
Installation: Fix the anti-slip pads supplied (to prevent the enclosure from being pushed to the side) on the wall suspension element, and then screw the wall suspension element to the wall, or a flat machine front panel. Insert the tongue on the back of the enclosure, in the centre, and hang the enclosure onto the wall suspension element and mount on the wall or similar with a screw (not supplied).

B3507030

Case canting kit Cants the enclosure by 12° to provide an ergonomic angle for reading displays and operating the device on a table. The rubber feet included in the supply ensure that the desk-top enclosure does not slip.
Rational assembly – no additional screw connection needed: when the enclosure is being assembled, the case canting mouldings are pushed into the base profile and automatically fixed by the side covers.
